Techint Engineering & Construction is a major driver for education in the province of San Juan.

Techint in Argentina donated the equipment for the Unconventional Energy laboratory at the Provincial Technical Education School No. 5. The idea was to help students improve their employment chances by learning how to operate equipment donated, installed and assembled by the company which also provided training for teachers and students.

The official ceremony to celebrate the donation of a photovoltaic laboratory including a converter, solar panels and a weather station was held on Friday August 3. Present at the event were the Governor of San Juan, José Luis Gioja, and the Executive vicepresident of Techint, Carlos Bacher.

Techint also committed to provide support by helping with teaching support, organizing guided visits to the Punta Negra project and fostering the chance to exchange experiences and points of view with professionals from the energy production and logistics sector.
